Pivoting frame for unbeatable stability
The foundation of LKT 130’s excellent off-road capabilities is its proven concept with all-wheel drive of equal-sized wheels and a pivoting frame. This solution allows the machine to perfectly contour irregularities, ensures constant contact of all wheels with the ground, and thus maximizes stability and traction even in extremely challenging and rugged terrain.
Powerful and proven propulsion system
At the heart of the skidder is a 108 kW engine which, in conjunction with a hydrodynamic transmission (with power shift capability), a single-stage transfer case, and the option to lock the torque converter, delivers the necessary power and torque. This system enables efficient operation and smooth driving even under full load.
Precise maneuvering in challenging conditions
Despite its robustness, the LKT 130 offers excellent maneuverability. The articulated steering using two hydraulic cylinders allows for frame articulation of up to 43°, facilitating movement in dense vegetation and confined spaces.
Optimized for work with a powerful winch
The LKT 130 is primarily designed for skidding logs using the cable skidding method. For this activity, it is equipped with an ideally dimensioned double-drum winch with a pulling force of 80 kN (with the option to choose a winch with a pulling force of 100 kN), which ensures effective pulling of logs to the skidder for subsequent transport by dragging in a semi-suspended position.
Comfort and Safety in a Modern Cabin
The new safety cab provides the operator with a modern, ergonomic, and safe working environment. Enhanced comfort and excellent visibility from the cab are key for precise control of the skidder and safe material handling during long work shifts.
Multifunctional blade for added value
The front blade is specially designed not only for effective log piling (stacking) but can also be used for simple earthworks, thus increasing the versatility and usability of the skidder.
Ideal application LKT 130 without Hydraulic Arm
Skidding logs from the stand using the collection rope method in challenging and extreme terrain conditions
Work requiring exceptional stability, traction, and maneuverability on uneven and sloping terrain
Efficient log stacking at landings
Performing simple earthworks using the blade
Universal deployment where a robust and powerful forest skidder is needed
